Bula! Welcome to Tokoriki Island Resort …. A romantic playground for the discerning traveler; a private island resort where romance meets affordable luxury.
Thirty five kilometres off the west coast Fiji's international gateway, Nadi, Tokoriki is northern-most of the Mamanuca Islands group. Away from the hustle and bustle of the other larger island resorts, you’ll have the feeling of being on your own private island retreat.
Tokoriki consists of only 34 guest bures and villas situated on 160 acres of land. At the heart of the resort is the large central meeting area where you'll find our popular Dolphin Bar, the al fresco Terrace Restaurant, lounge area, swimming pool, front desk, and boutique. A relaxation bure offers a wonderful variety of spa treatments for those looking to unwind.
For the more energetic, a flood lit tennis court, kayaks, catamarans, walking track, snorkeling gear, windsurfers and table tennis are complimentary.
Accomodation and Dining
Your bure (pro. "mboo-ray") is a private beachfront retreat facing a thousand- meter white sandy beach. Your meals are a plentiful fusion of Australian, Asian and European influences and made from fresh ingredients of the South Pacific region.
Our thirty four freestanding bures and villas are a magical combination of Fijian architecture and modern luxuries and amenities expected of an up market resort. They’re spacious, air conditioned, and have their own private outdoor showers. All units are also equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, mini fridges and numerous other amenities.
Under the shade of the palm trees by day or beneath a blanket of stars in the evening, dining outdoors is a romantic, casual and sumptuous event at Tokoriki Island Resort. With an emphasis on seafood and the use of local ingredients in contemporary ways, our Executive Chef creates Fijian-inspired specialties with Pacific Rim influences. Enjoy fabulous beef, lamb, cheeses, fruits and vegetables imported daily Australia and New Zealand.
To complement the ever changing menus, we offer a selection of fine Australian and New Zealand wines and French champagnes.
Experience the Fijian culture. Meet the people Conde Nast Traveller Magazine readers voted the "Friendliest People in the World". Share their stories; visit the village; partake in a traditional kava ceremony with the chief; meet the children in school; get to know our staff - they truly are our finest asset. At Tokoriki, you’ll "arrive as a visitor and leave as a friend."
